Join Bruin Affiliates for our February Luncheon! The guest speaker will be Alex Korb, Ph.D. ’10, a neuroscientist in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry with over 15 years of brain research experience.
Korb will discuss the second edition of his book, “The Upward Spiral,” which examines depression’s impact on the brain and the intricate, bidirectional relationship between our neural circuitry and our moods, decisions and actions. Korb will explain how small, concrete steps can initiate an upward spiral of emotional well-being and healthier living.
His expertise also extends to yoga, mindfulness and mindset coaching — practices he integrates to help people build happier, healthier and more productive lives.
